In Arcadia Quest, players lead guilds of intrepid heroes on an epic campaign to dethrone the vampire lord and reclaim the mighty Arcadia for their own. But only one guild may lead in the end, so players must battle against each other as well as against the monstrous occupying forces. Through the branching scenarios of the campaign, the heroes gain awesome new weapons and abilities, and the game remembers the heroic deeds of players from one session to the next, unlocking exciting new possibilities in future scenarios!
Arcadia Quest is a campaign-based game for 2 to 4 players, where each player controls a guild of three unique heroes, facing off against the other players and the various monsters controlled by the game. Players need to accomplish a series of quests in order to win each scenario and choose where to go next in the campaign.
Players are able to choose the path their campaign takes, navigating through six out of eleven available scenarios, so each time the campaign is played it can have a different configuration of scenarios.
As the campaign progresses, the heroes are able to acquire new weapons, equipment and abilities that give them powerful options to tackle the obstacles ahead. Furthermore, by fulfilling specific quests in a scenario, players unlock exclusive features in subsequent scenarios.
The rules in Arcadia Quest are fast and furious, and every player can focus on using their heroes’ abilities and equipment to achieve their goals, without the need for anybody to get stuck with the role of solely controlling the monsters.

Arcadia Quest Beyond the Grave:
Beschrijving van de Producent:
Arcadia Quest: Beyond the Grave is an expansion to Arcadia Quest that takes place after the overthrow of Lord Fang. Arcadians really can’t catch a break as zombies, skeletons, ghosts, ghouls, mad scientists (and their creations) and an ancient evil take over the city! … AGAIN!
Dr.Spider’s vile experiments in his search for immortality have unleashed the undead on the streets of Arcadia! Ghosts, zombies, and skeletons terrorize the city under the command of an ancient legend, now freed from his tomb: the Dread King! It’s time for your heroes to put these monsters back where they belong: six feet underground!
In this campaign expansion for Arcadia Quest, players pit their Guilds against the Dread King’s undead horde and Dr. Spider’s freaky sidekicks. Progressing through an all-new branching campaign, the Heroes will earn new weapons, equipment, abilities, and magic spells unearthed straight from the afterlife!
This expansion introduces several new mechanics to the game, including equipment that gives Heroes more power the more times they’re killed, magic spells that can banish their target to the netherworld, and ghosts that can move and attack through walls. This expansion also contains 9 brand new scenarios for you to choose from!
Arcadia Quest Beyond the Grave contains:
– Brand new campaign
– 3 new tiles
– New Upgrade cards
– New Quest cards
– New Tombstone cards with a new game mechanic
– 2 new Heroes
– 22 new Monster figures
Arcadia Quest Inferno
Arcadia Quest Inferno is a standalone expansion to Arcadia Quest. It is 100% compatible with the original base game and introduces four new Guilds: Sharks, Tigers, Crows, and Serpents. It features new types of heroes, such as Alchemists and Gladiators.
There is a new branching campaign system, and the storyline revolves around the guilds descending into a fiery abyss. There are Brimstone cards that make the terrain risky to navigate, which operate similarly to the Tombstone cards from Arcadia Quest: Beyond the Grave.
A new mechanism called “Damnation” will tempt the heroes with powerful weapons that can corrupt the characters over time or change the behavior of nearby monsters. Going down into the infernal depths presents the heroes of Arcadia with a new set of challenges and opportunities, in the form of Damnation!
This dark power permeates everything in Inferno, and daring heroes may want to use it to their advantage (and face the consequences). Weapons and equipment found in Inferno may become more powerful if a hero takes Damnation, monsters may offer the choice of taking Damnation instead of wounds (or flat out dealing Damnation to their target). However, accumulating Damnation may come at a high price.
Some Upgrades are more effective against heroes with Damnation, some monsters more powerful against them, and specially Brimstone cards scattered through the scenarios may activate monsters to attack heroes who dabble too much in the dark powers!
There are also Angels, which are allied characters for the heroes to rescue, escort or assist. Working with the Angels can affect the branching campaign path system and even allow the player to recruit them for use in later missions. . These secret protectors of Arcadia have been imprisoned by the Underlord, who is trying to corrupt them. If players rescue these Angels, they become powerful additions to their Guilds. But beware, the Angels that are abandoned to their fate will be consumed and come back as monsters to seek revenge on the heroes!
Arcadia Quest Inferno
Arcadia Quest: Whole Lotta Lava:
Arcadia Quest: Whole Lotta Lava includes a couple of brand new scenarios designed to plug into the Inferno campaign, utilizing Ignos, the Hellcats and the Fallen Angel!
Through the course of an Inferno campaign, you’ll simply be able to pick these scenarios instead of those from the Inferno campaign, and they will present you with all new challenges and opportunities, featuring new Quest cards, as well as new Reward Upgrades that you’ll be able to bring into your campaign!
Arcadia Quest: Pets
Beschrijving van de Producent:
In Arcadia Quest: Pets, players will face off against Vexia and her hordes of experimental monsters in an all-new set of scenarios. They’ll have some help though, as throughout the campaign, they will come across creatures that will aid them on their quest. This expansion comes with 12 cute and cuddly critters, each with its own miniature, stat card, and dashboard.
These lovable additions might not do a lot of damage on their own, but they will change the dynamic of battles by giving buffs to friends or debuffs to enemies around them. As you adventure on, the Pets will be able to grow and evolve, gaining more powerful abilities as they go. Plus, there’s special Pet treasure you can find, letting you equip your Pet with armor or giving them new powers.
The Pets work in a similar manner to regular Heroes, but there are some distinct differences. First, they don’t activate on their own. When it’s a player’s turn to activate one of their Heroes, they can also choose to activate a Pet. This can be done before or after the Hero’s activation. Pets have 3 movement points, like Heroes, and can do certain things like open/close doors and use Portals. However, they cannot collect tokens or reveal Brimstone, Dragonstone, or Tombstone cards. They also don’t “occupy” spaces on the board. Plus, they don’t block Line of Sight, trigger Guard Reactions, or count for Flanking purposes. So, that’s all the things that they can’t do. But what about what they can do? Well, each Pet is different, bringing something new to the party. For example, Tickles, the ferret, can distract enemies when they try and attack. Sheldon, the turtle, can be used as a shield by his Owners. And Bumble, the panda, is just so darn cute, it actually hurts people to attack his friends.
The Arcadia Quest: Pets expansion doesn’t just have Pets in it, though. There’s also two new Heroes as well as a group of nefarious ne’er-do-wells. The Heroes come in the form of Greenhood and Oak. Greenhood is the cousin of Greensleeves and is looking to follow in her relative’s footsteps to greatness. Meanwhile, Oak has been protector of the forest since anyone can remember.
When Vexia started doing her evil deeds, Oak stepped up to confront her. It… just takes him a while to get things done… On the “evil” side of the spectrum, you have the aforementioned witch, Vexia. She’s been busy since she left Arcadia University, using her cuddlymancy on the denizens of the forest. It’s twisted the creatures, creating such new species as the Korilla, Hedgehornet, and Owlbunny. You’ll have to face off against each of these if you want to beat Vexia.
If you’re looking to add some cuddly critters to your other games of Arcadia Quest, the rulebook includes an option for bringing them to any other campaign. There’s maps that let you know where wild Pets can be placed at the start of each scenario, ready to be adopted by any Heroes that happen to be passing by.
Miniatures are supplies unpainted
Arcadia Quest: Pets brings a whole lot to your tabletop. Loyal, brave, and most importantly, cuddly Pets are ready to aid your Heroes in their adventures.
Arcadia Quest: Riders
Arcadia Quest: Riders is a new modular expansion for Arcadia Quest and Arcadia Quest: Inferno, and requires either core set to play.
Each Guild will get a mount. Mounts allow a Hero to saddle up and ride into battle in style.
Mounts all have a shove-style ability, being able to clear other characters out of the way. They will also all have a unique ability, giving each Mount something cool they can do.
And, like the Pets, they will have specialized gear that they can use to enhance their abilities and increase their survivability on the battlefield.
Along with the mounts, the expansion will also have two brand-new heroes, as well as a brand-new major villain and a brand-new minor villain.
The set also comes with a new 6-mission campaign.
There are alternate scenarios for use with other Arcadia Quest expansions as well: if you have the Pets expansion, there’s an alternate version of one of the scenarios that makes specific use of that material. Same goes for Beyond the Grave.
And if you have both, there’s yet another alternate scenario you can try out.
