Pandemic NL:
In Pandemic, several virulent diseases have broken out simultaneously all over the world! The players are disease-fighting specialists who work together to treat disease hotspots. Together they must research cures for each of four plagues before they get out of hand.
The Pandemic game board depicts several major population centers on Earth. On each turn, a player can use up to four actions to travel between cities, treat infected populaces, discover a cure, or build a research station. A deck of cards provides the players with these abilities, but sprinkled throughout this deck are Epidemic! cards. Drawing these cards accelerate and intensify the diseases’ activity. A second, separate deck of cards controls the “normal” spread of the infections.
Taking a unique role within the team, players must plan their strategy to mesh with their specialists’ strengths in order to conquer the diseases. For example, the Operations Expert can build research stations which are needed to find cures for the diseases and which allow for greater mobility between cities; the Scientist needs only four cards of a particular disease to cure it instead of the normal five—but the diseases are spreading quickly and time is running out. If one or more diseases spreads beyond recovery or if too much time elapses, the players all lose. If they cure the four diseases, they all win!
Can you save humanity in this cooperative game where deadly viruses are spreading across the globe? Together, you will treat diseases, share knowledge, and fly all over the world to prevent outbreaks and slow down the epidemic. The fate of humanity is in your hands!

Pandemic Extreem Gevaar:
You’ve found the cures to four deadly diseases. But what happens when those diseases get stronger? Worse yet, what happens when someone spreads them intentionally?! Return to the world of Pandemic with On the Brink and prepare for the unexpected. The three challenges included with this expansion evolve the base game mechanics in exciting ways. One disease might become a Virulent Strain and become more difficult to treat as the game goes on.
Or you could introduce an unpredictable fifth disease with the Mutation challenge and watch it pop up in unexpected places. Finally, teamwork is even more important if a fifth player dons the mask of the Bio-Terrorist and spreads panic while moving secretly across the board. Try each challenge individually or combine them all for a major test!
On the Brink also includes more of what made Pandemic an instant classic. With seven new roles and eight new event cards, the expansion injects even more variety into your globe-trotting adventures. Anticipate upcoming infections as the Troubleshooter or save the day with the extra actions granted by a clutch Borrowed Time. Combined with the base game, these cards open new avenues for experimentation and improvisation in your quest to save humanity.
And if finding cures is becoming routine even on the Heroic difficulty, you can always add the Epidemic card and tackle Legendary difficulty. With a whopping seven Epidemic cards, playing at Legendary will challenge even the most experienced Pandemic players. The stakes have been raised. Now rise to the occasion and save humanity.
Pandemic In het Lab:
In Pandemic: In the Lab, the second expansion for Pandemic, you will use a new game board that allows you to move the pawns in a laboratory. The goal of this activity is the same as in the base game – finding cures for diseases – but this time in a new way. Behind sealed bio-hazard doors, scientists race against time to sequence diseases, take samples, and test cures.
Pandemic: In the Lab includes four new roles, new Virulent Strain events, and a Worldwide Panic Mutation scenario. Players can compete individually or on rival teams (when playing with four or six players). Can your team work together in the lab to save humanity?
Pandemic: In the Lab requires both the base game and Pandemic: On the Brink to play.
Clinical Trials
New medical technology has been developed that will help treat the infectious diseases spreading across the globe. The In the Lab expansion for Pandemic adds more variety and challenge to your mission of containing deadly disease outbreaks. This time, there’s a whole new way to discover cures and get closer to winning the game. Travel around the board collecting samples of each disease in the field, then use the Lab board to sequence, characterize, and test your cures.
Add sample cubes to one of the two lab dishes by taking the Treat Disease action. Once enough samples are collected, seal yourself behind bio-hazard doors and send the samples through the centrifuge and separator to place them on sequence cards in the correct order. If you can get a disease characterized and sequenced, you’re ready to find a cure!
New Challenges
In addition to the Lab Challenge, In the Lab provides two variants that shake up the Pandemic experience. Now you can take on the diseases by yourself in a solo game or split into two rival teams and race to cure and eradicate diseases, prevent outbreaks, and gain prestige.
Other than a little help from the CDC, you’re on your own in the solo game. Stay in contact with your home base and discover the cures before it’s too late. If you break into rival teams, curing diseases is still the ultimate goal, but the prestige you’ve earned over the course of the game determines the winner.
Along with its four new Role cards, three new Event cards, and challenges you can combine with those in the On the Brink expansion, In the Labcreates a whole new world of possibilities for Pandemic.
