The Jump Scare! Commander Deck is part of Magic: The Gathering’s Duskmourn: House of Horror series, released on September 27, 2024.
This pre-constructed deck is designed for players who enjoy manipulating the top of their library and manifesting cards into creatures.
Key Features:
- Commander: Zimone, Mystery Unraveler β A legendary Human Wizard with a landfall ability that allows you to manifest the top card of your library, and if it’s the first time this ability has resolved this turn, you may turn a permanent you control face down or face up.
- Mechanics: The deck focuses on manifesting cards from the top of your library, allowing for strategic plays by turning noncreature cards into 2/2 creatures and potentially flipping them face up for their original effects.
Notable Cards:
- Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait: A creature that lets you play an additional land on each of your turns and draws you a card whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control.
- Ashaya, Soul of the Wild: A creature whose power and toughness are each equal to the number of lands you control, and it turns your nontoken creatures into Forest lands in addition to their other types.
- Worldspine Wurm: An 11/11 creature with trample that creates three 5/5 green Wurm creature tokens with trample when it dies and shuffles back into your library.
