Deze bundel bevat drie Empire uitbreidingen van Star Wars Legion aan een voordelige prijs:

Star Wars Legion: Snowtroopers Expansion:

The reach of the Empire is vast. There is no distance great enough—or planet remote enough—to prevent the Empire from rooting out those who would challenge its ultimate authority in the galaxy. When these Rebels are found on planets with adverse conditions, the snowtroopers stand ready to impose the Emperor’s will.

Soon, you’ll be able to add squads of Snowtroopers to your Imperial armies in Star Wars™: Legion with the Snowtroopers Unit Expansion!

Inside the Snowtroopers Unit Expansion, you’ll find seven unpainted, easily assembled miniatures, along with the cards and tokens that you need to add a squad of Snowtroopers to your army. With their own set of heavy weapons and potential upgrades, the Snowtroopers make another terrifying addition to your Imperial army, and today, we’ll take a closer look at exactly what you’ll find inside this expansion!

Unshakable Resolve

Employing specialized gear and trained in ruthless assault tactics, snowtroopers move slowly but deliberately, their expressionless helmets and relentless blaster fire intimidating any enemy in their path. These troops give Imperial commanders another option when selecting the corps units that will comprise the rank and file of their armies. Still, both Snowtroopers and traditional Stormtroopers have different abilities to offer.

At a cost of 48 points, a basic unit of four Snowtroopers is slightly more expensive than a group of Stormtroopers, but they remain cheap enough to add several to your army. Likewise, both units bring different abilities and strategic options to the table. Like their Stormtrooper brethren, Snowtroopers use the E-11 Blaster Rifle commonly found among Imperial infantry, with each miniature in the unit contributing a single white attack die. Snowtroopers also feature the same sturdy armor as Stormtroopers, allowing them to roll red defense dice when defending.

There are also notable differences, however. Where Stormtroopers focus on improving their accuracy through their Precise 1 ability, Snowtroopers are trained to fire on the move, pressing forward no matter what. Their Steady ability reflects this, allowing them to perform a free ranged attack after moving. So, despite their slower speed, Snowtroopers can aim, move, and shoot in rapid succession, applying constant pressure as they deliberately move across the battlefield and lay down suppressive fire.

The new upgrade options provided by the Snowtroopers Unit Expansion also help Snowtroopers distinguish themselves from other Imperial soliders. They feature the same heavy weapon, personnel, grenades, and gear slots as Stormtroopers, but they take these customization options in new directions. You can always add another Snowtrooper mini to your unit, of course, for added firepower and durability, but Snowtroopers can be further customized and given specialized roles in battle.

The Snowtroopers Unit Expansion gives you access to two new heavy weapons specialists that can give this unit an extra punch. The Flametrooper,  for example, is perfect for dealing with your opponent’s troopers, provided you can get within Range 1 to make your attack. Through its Spray ability, this specialist adds one black die to their pool for each mini in the defending unit. On top of that, Flametrooper ignores cover thanks to its Blast ability, potentially setting up devastating attacks against units your Snowtroopers catch off-guard.

With its Blast and Spray abilities, the Flametrooper ignores cover and adds dice to its pool for every mini in the defending unit that it can see!

Where a Flametrooper gives you a potent option for dealing with enemy personnel, the T-7 Ion Trooper provides a solution for enemy vehicles. This trooper has a chance to crack through the thickest armor with its Impact 1 keyword. If it does, Ion 1 ensures that any vehicle hit by this attack takes an ion token, robbing it of actions later. This vehicle-stopping power comes at a cost, however, as this upgrade card must be exhausted when used, forcing you to take the recover action to fire it again.

Finally, the snowtrooper’s grenades and gear upgrade slots make them even more customizable. The Targeting Scopes found in the Core Set pair nicely with Snowtroopers’ Steady ability to make them even deadlier when they use an action to aim. On the other hand, you can always supply your troops with the Impact Grenades found in the Snowtroopers Unit Expansion if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to dealing with vehicles than a T-7 Ion Trooper.

Star Wars Legion: General Veers Expansion:

“General, prepare your troops for a surface attack.
–Darth Vader, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Take your Imperial ground assaults to the next level—Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce the General Veers Commander Expansion for Star Wars™: Legion!

Imperial commanders will soon have more options than ever before when they choose who will lead their troops into combat—General Veers, the first new commander for the Imperial forces, is coming soon to Star Wars: Legion. An expert in ground combat, and especially noted for his use of walkers in the surface attack on Hoth, General Veers is well acquainted with leading the Empire’s finest into battle against insurgents such as the Rebel Alliance.

Within the General Veers Commander Expansion, you’ll find all the materials that you need to add General Veers to your army as a commander—leading an army on his own or standing side-by-side with another Imperial commander, such as Darth Vader. This expansion pack offers an unpainted General Veers miniature and his three personal command cards, inviting you to bring Veers’ personal touch to the Imperial armies that you lead into battle. What’s more, like other Unit Expansions for Star Wars: Legion, this Commander Expansion includes a unit card for General Veers and an assortment of upgrade cards that you can use to equip General Veers or another unit for battle in even the most hostile environments.

Walkers Sighted

Some commanders, such as Darth Vader, are fearsome combatants on the battlefield, making a striking impact simply by their mere presence on the battlefield. While Darth Vader may cleave his way through Rebel troopers using his lightsaber mastery and his prowess over the Force, General Veers plays an equally pivotal role by inspiring your other units to greater heights.

General Veers is far from incapable of participating in direct combat. His E-11 Blaster Rifle gives him a powerful ranged attack, and even if caught in hand-to-hand combat, Veers’s combat expertise is sufficient to continue dealing out damage. Still, General Veers’s most potent abilities come into play when he is coordinating the attack from the front lines. For example, General Veers bears the Spotter 2 ability—as an action, he can choose two friendly units at Range 1 and grant each of those units an aim token. By spotting and choosing targets for powerful units like the AT-ST, General Veers can have an undeniable impact on the shape of the battlefield.

General Veers uses his Spotter 2 ability to grant aim tokens to two nearby units.

With General Veers, Imperial players suddenly have options when choosing a commander for their armies—or potentially even fielding both General Veers and Darth Vader in the same army. An army may have up to two units with the commander rank, and when issuing orders during the Command Phase, you’ll choose one of your two commanders and issue the orders from that unit. You may even find that General Veers is ideal for issuing orders while you send Darth Vader charging into the fray—especially if you upgrade Veers with a Commanding Presence, enabling him to issue orders at up to Range 4!

General Veers also comes with an array of three unique command cards, which you have the option of including in your hand of seven carefully chosen command cards, provided you have General Veers in your army. Each of these command cards speaks to General Veers’s nature as a cunning tactician and a skilled commander of vehicles… and your opponent may soon learn that Imperial discipline is capable of shaking off the effects of any suppressive fire.

Landfall on Hoth

You may be leading the assault on Hoth, or you may be fighting on one of the countless other battlefields of the Galactic Civil War, leading the mighty Imperial war machine into battle wherever you find it. Take command of your forces and crush the Rebellion under your boot!

Star Wars Legion: E-Web Heavy Blaster Team:

Fantasy Flight Games is happy to announce the E-Web Heavy Blaster Team Unit Expansion for Star Wars™: Legion!

Imperial troops are known for their relentless assaults, pressing the attack even in the face of the strongest Rebel resistance. But when the Empire really wants to bring the fight to the Rebels, it calls in its heavy blaster teams. Bridging the gap between lightly armed trooper units and the heavy AT-ST, an E-Web Heavy Blaster Team gives you even more options for rounding out your Imperial army.

The E-Web Heavy Blaster Team Unit Expansion expands the possibilities for your games of Star Wars: Legion with an unpainted, easily assembled E-Web Heavy Blaster Team miniature that you can field as a support unit. Additionally, three upgrade cards let you customize your heavy blaster team, improving its communications or modifying its power generator to create new ways to attack.

You can look for both the E-Web Heavy Blaster Team Unit Expansion and the 1.4 FD Laser Cannon Team Unit Expansion  at your local retailer in the third quarter of 2018.

Heavy Fire

The addition of an E-Web Heavy Blaster Team to your Imperial forces immediately gives you new options when selecting the support units that will join your ground troops. While 74-Z speeder bikes whip across the battlefield with lightning speed in an attempt to flank or strafe the enemy, an E-Web team takes a decidedly direct approach, raining heavy fire upon any units that dare approach.

Among Imperial units, an E-Web Heavy Blaster Team is only surpassed by the AT-ST in terms of raw firepower. The heavy blaster rolls a red, two black, and two white attack dice, all for significantly fewer points than the walker. Better still, an E-Web Heavy Blaster Team won’t lose any attack dice as it takes wounds, unlike the more frail corps units.

But an E-Web heavy blaster is a heavy piece of equipment. Between their thick armor, the heavy blaster itself, and its generator, the team moves at a plodding pace. Already limited to using the shortest of Star Wars: Legion’s jointed movement tools, the E-Web Heavy Blaster Team can only perform one move action during its activation, and it cannot move and fire during the same activation.

This may seem like a serious limitation, but it frees the E-Web team to move and take the standby action during its activation. Thanks to the Sentinel keyword extending its standby range to three, a well-positioned E-Web Heavy Blaster Team still has the opportunity to attack—or at least make opposing units think twice before coming within range. A strategically placed E-Web Heavy Blaster Team can lay down the covering fire your other troopers need to move in and secure key positions on the battlefield.

The E-Web Heavy Blaster Team uses its Reposition ability to perform a free pivot after moving, bringing the Rebel Troopers into its front arc!

The E-Web team’s position is even more important when you consider that its attack are fixed to its front arc, making it vulnerable to flanking maneuvers by enemy units. The team isn’t totally out of luck if a Rebel unit manages to get the drop on them, though. They can always use their E-11 blaster rifles to return fire with two white attack dice. Still, if you’ve laid your plans correctly, this won’t be too much of an issue, as the E-Web heavy blaster is surprisingly maneuverable once it’s in place. It can fully pivot when needed and can even reposition itself immediately before or after moving, ensuring that it will not easily be caught unawares.

Like the 1.4 FD Laser Cannon Team Unit Expansion, the E-Web Heavy Blaster Team also features upgrades that allow you to modify the blaster’s power generator however you see fit. If you anticipate facing waves of foot soldiers, a Barrage Generator can give you the suppressive fire you need to pin them in place. If enemy vehicles are headed your way, on the other hand, you can equip an Overcharged Generator to give the E-Web the power it needs to crack through their armor. Finally, being in close contact with headquarters is always important and an HQ Uplink can help keep the E-Web Heavy Blaster Team in the loop with your army’s plans at crucial moments.

Imperial Strength

With an E-Web Heavy Blaster Team in your army, you can show your enemies the true power of the Empire. Assemble your blaster teams and bring the fight to the Rebel doorstep!
